This section of Indian Creek Klamath Tributary in Siskiyou County is 7.6 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd     better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. When you're paddling down a Klamath Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The campgrounds here at Indian Creek Klamath Tributary are pretty good. The starting location is a short drive from Grants Pass, as you can see on the road map further down. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the confluence South and East Fork to Klamath River section is one of them. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this   is an area with plenty of places for that. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. Briefly about the general area: Klamath National Forest is a great place to visit; hiking along the Boundary Trail is perfect fun. And if that's not sufficient there's a heap more entertaining things to do in the Klamath Mountains.
