Patterson Bluffs is a must. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Kings River - North Fork; Bobs Flat Trail is a wonderful local trail. Interesting geology is available here; Indian Rock is near Kings River - North Fork.
There's good hiking along the Deep Creek Trail, and folks from Dunlap love to come here. At Kings River - North Fork all through the summer highs are in the 70's.
