There are a few other stretches in this river system that     can be paddled as well. The nature scenery of California and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with not too many other places for that. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
