If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. The Happy Camp to Coon Creek stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river   system. Whitewater paddling here in the Klamath Mountains is a great experience. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
