If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. Briefly about the general area: Klamath River is not far at all from Somes Bar, and you might also want to pay a visit to Ti Bar if you're
here at Klamath River. If you want a great time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Klamath Mountains. There is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood of Klamath River called the Clear Creek National Recreation
Trail. Throughout the warm months highs here at Klamath River get into the 90's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
