If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside California you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Whether you're whitewater rafting     or kayaking there are lots of good places for that around here. The Sycamore Road to Sycamore Creek section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. When you're paddling down a Central Sierra Nevada river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. This stretch of Little Dry Creek in Fresno   County is 4 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. Briefly about the general area: Hiking along the Deep Creek Trail is great fun; during your journey here you'll meet some people from Tollhouse for sure. All year is a glorious time in the Central Sierra Nevada if you like the outdoors. Little Dry Creek is right by the Bobs Flat Trail. Throughout the summertime at Little Dry Creek temperatures are ordinarily in the 90's; the nighttime is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 60's. Through the winter highs are in the 50's, and overnight lows in the 30's for Little Dry Creek.
