The Pico Blanco B South Carolina to Highway 1 section of Little Sur River in California is 7 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV section of whitewater. The river winds through the Santa Lucia Range and you get great scenery. The beautiful scenery of Monterey County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream have people coming here. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Getting   your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. There are many good hotels to choose from, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Pico Blanco B South Carolina to Highway 1 section is one of them. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling places.
