This stretch of Redwood Creek is 5.4 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna, as you can see on the road map further down. When you're paddling down a Coast Ranges river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. area: People from Blue Lake love to come to Redwood Creek; don't leave Redwood Creek without first checking out Princess Rock. All year is a glorious time in the Coast Ranges if you adore the outdoors. Do schedule some
time to go to Circle Point in close proximity to Redwood Creek if you have a chance. Redwood Creek is right by the Grouse Creek Tractor Way. Redwood Creek is a wet site that gets a lot of precipitation.
