  The nature scenery of Fresno County and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. If you're coming from Fresno it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. The Trimmer Springs Road to Kings River stretch of Sycamore Creek in California is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some
    good walking shoes. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby,
you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Sierra Nevada is a great experience. The campgrounds here at Sycamore Creek are pretty good. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. There are  
a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well.

While you're here at Sycamore Creek you will meet lots of folks from close by Tollhouse; hiking is a popular thing to do around Sycamore Creek; Deep Creek Trail is a perfect local trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things in the Central Sierra Nevada. Good hiking is available along the Bobs Flat Trail. Summertime at Sycamore Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Sycamore Creek are in the 30's.
