The Trimmer Springs Road to Kings River stretch of Sycamore Creek in California is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV-V section of whitewater. This is a bit of a short stretch so better bring some     good walking shoes. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Whitewater paddling here in the Central Sierra Nevada is a great experience. The campgrounds here at Sycamore Creek are pretty good.
