  The Hobo Gulch to Bridge 1 mile above mouth stretch of Trinity River - North Fork in California is 14 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. The scenic beauty of California and the cool fresh water beats anything. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Eureka-Arcata-Fortuna, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. A good workout and just hanging out with mother nature
    are great attractions for lots of people. Whitewater paddling here in the Klamath Mountains is a great experience. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack
your camping stuff. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in California are often more challenging than in other states, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations  
in advance you're all set. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too.

While staying at Trinity River - North Fork you could always look at Squaw Gulch, and at Trinity River - North Fork you always meet someone from Junction City. But wait, there's more exciting stuff to do in the Klamath Mountains. A short tour to China Springs is always worthwhile. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Trinity River - North Fork.
