This stretch of Yuba River - South Fork is 5.2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Kingvale to Cisco Grove stretch is just one of many. There's camping available near Yuba River - South Fork. The nearby     hotels are a bit away from the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in California are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. The beautiful scenery of California and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great.
