This section of Boulder Creek - South is 0.75 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Boulder, as you can see on the road map further down. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Whitewater     rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. Whitewater paddling here in the Front Range is a great experience. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too. There are some good hotels near the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This section is very short so better bring some   good walking shoes. Briefly about the general area: When you're here at Boulder Creek - South it's always fun to stop by Eldorado State Park, and there's wonderful hiking along the Bear Peak Trail. So many fun things to do here in the Front Range, too wonderful to be true. Eldorado Springs is a gorgeous place to stop by while you're at Boulder Creek - South. Good hiking is available along the Mesa Trail, and Golden Gate Canyon State Park is a pleasant place to stretch your legs a bit. Rattlesnake Gulch is a fine place to explore in close proximity to Boulder Creek - South, and if you're popping by from Eldorado Springs, you won't be the only one.
