This stretch of Cache La Poudre River in Colorado is 2.4 miles long and has been rated as a class V section by American Whitewater. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will have you coming back for more. This is a short paddling stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. If you're a camper you can   camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. Briefly about the general area: A short visit to Poudre Falls is always worthwhile, and you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Green Ridge Trail. All year is a splendid time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you adore the outdoors. Roosevelt National Forest is a pleasant location to check out, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Zimmerman Trail. A river like this is too good to miss.
