The beautiful scenery of Colorado and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. If you're coming from Edwards it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Hanging Lake Exit 125 to Grizzly Creek section is one of them. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here |
you'll find a large number of good rivers. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so better not forget that rivers

80's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Colorado River nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 0's. Colorado River gets very little rain. Of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain; February meanwhile is the driest month.
