The scenic beauty of Colorado and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better     reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. When you're paddling down a Uinta Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. A stretch this long is of course too much for a one day trip, so make sure you pack enough food   along with your camping gear. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Briefly about the general area: The Jones Hole Trail offers hiking at its best, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Daniels Trail. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do in the Uinta Mountains. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Green River while nighttime lows are frequently in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows at Green River all through the wintertime usually dip into the 10's.
