Briefly about the general area: Don't leave East Aspetuck River without popping
by Lake Waramaug State Park; on a magnificent day it's a great idea to spend the day at Morris Town Beach. Very delightful scenery and glorious skiing is what you get at Woodbury, and if you want to hit the beach, Pine Ledge
is in the neighborhood. This river is so great. Take a hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and East Aspetuck River is a site with many visitors from New Milford.
