The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Connecticut are often more forgiving than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are very easy. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Hartford-West Hartford-East Hartford, as you can see on the road map further down. |

from South Glastonbury love to come to Roaring Brook River; a day on the slopes of Powder Ridge is just what you need. Roaring Brook River is a wet site that gets a large amount of precipitation.
