The wonderful Georgia scenery and the water flowing gracefully   down Annewakee River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. At Annewakee River through the warm days of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's; overnight lows throughout the winter for Annewakee River tend to be in the 20's. The high level of rainfall makes Annewakee River a pretty wet location. Most of the rain falls all through March; the driest of the months is October.
