If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that the rivers in this state are less manageable. The put-in location is a short drive from Athens-Clarke County, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down |
the page. This is a very short stretch so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. The beautiful scenery of Georgia and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile.
