Georgia whitewater, Chattahoochee River

White Habersham Hall county, Robertson to GA Route 115 section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS I-II     16 miles
The put-in is not too far from Cornelia, as you can see on the road map further down. The wonderful Georgia scenery and the playfulness of the water beats anything. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Georgia you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. When you're paddling down a Blue Ridge Mountains river like this one you always get great
scenery along the way too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more.
No shortage of good hotels, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The Robertson to GA Route 115 stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system.
