The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Briefly about the general area: Lots of folks from Alto come to Chattahoochee River, and Unicoi State Park is a nice location to stretch your
legs a bit. Near Chattahoochee River you discover The Shoals which is a good spot to take a look at. Chattahoochee River typically gets a large amount of rainfall. Most of the rain falls all through March, and the driest
month of the year is October. At Chattahoochee River through the months of summer highs are in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's.
