Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. The scenic beauty of Dade County and the cool fresh water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. This stretch of Cole City Creek is 7.2 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III+(IV) section. This stretch is mid length, suitable |
for an afternoon trip. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near.

Russell Cave National Monument is a very great spot to take a look at close to Cole City Creek; don't leave Cole City Creek without first checking out Seward Point. This is a great river. A spree to Cloudland Canyon State
Park when you're here at Cole City Creek is never a bad idea, and you'll meet a lot of people from Trenton here. You ought to go to Sulphur Springs Gulf when you're here at Cole City Creek, and the Sand Mountain casts its
shadow over Cole City Creek. This is no place for people who don’t like to have fun. There are perfect places to explore along the Bluff Trail. During the summertime at Cole City Creek highs are frequently in the 80's.
