The to Bear Creek stretch of Daniel Creek is 4.6 miles long and has been rated as a class V+ section by American Whitewater. enough to come here to paddle. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. On this section you do get some distance, it's good length for a morning trip.
| Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come. The campgrounds here at Daniel Creek are pretty good. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Summerville, as you can see on the road map further down. There are many good hotels to choose from, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.

Daniel Creek. Daniel Creek gets a good deal of water. For the period of the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is October.
