I live on the Little Towaliga River, and I wanted to update some of your info. On the map where it says there's a take out at Latitude: 33.12829 Longitude: -83.97191 this isn't accessible anymore. I live here along with other families, and all of the land is private property. There is one way in and one way out down a private driveway with a locked gate. However, there is a take out down the river where the Little Towaliga     River and the Towaliga River meet on the Hwy 42 Bridge. I believe these are the coordinates. I was a 5 lb largemouth bass. I caught it with a zoom rubber worm. Says Michael sparks The little towaliga river is an excellent river to fish in and to ride a boat throw. Me and my friend ride in it all the time its a blast. Me and my friends have noticed that the best bait to use in this river is worms. We've caught so many different types of fish: for example   brim, blue gill, bass, catfish, and either a pike or a jack, silver carp, rainbow trout, and even eel. We also catch turtles like: snapping turtles, alligator snapping turtle, soft shell, stripped turtle. There is also otters in the back of the river where it's calm. We've also seen these big pink birds their bout 5 ft tall. A good bait for the catfish is cut up brim. There is no telling what else is in this river. It's outstanding. I'm Michael and I'm 14 and I recommend that if you like to fish and ever come to Forsyth you need to give this river a try, trust me you'll have good luck....... Says Michael Sparks Have paddled several streams in area, including high falls from below horseshoe rapids to GA 42. Very similar to lil' towaliga - very shallow, rocky, bumpy ride... High water makes for better ride but can be dangerous with rocks, sharp bends in channel w/ falls, rapids around corners, watch out for snakes and (...).
