Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. The Highway 301 to Nickajack Lake stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. You might have |
to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The wonderful Georgia scenery and the water flowing gracefully down
| Warren Creek are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The average Georgia whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be harder to run than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners.
