This stretch of Bitch Creek is 10 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV section of whitewater. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Jackson, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get     lost. The scenic beauty of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good rivers for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area:   There are glorious places to discover along the DeCoster Trail, and you'll meet a lot of people from Felt here. Going for a hike on the De Coster Trail is always a tremendous adventure, and why not head up to Grand Targhee and strap some skis to your feet. This is a great river. Bitch Creek is a location that is rather arid typically. For the duration of January this area sees the most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. Throughout the long summer days here at Bitch Creek, high temperatures commonly get into the 80's while nighttime lows are frequently in the 40's.
