This section of Blackfoot River in Idaho is 8 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class IV section of whitewater. The beautiful scenery of Bongham County and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. | spots. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving.

highs here at Blackfoot River get into the 80's. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 50's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are ordinarily in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Blackfoot River plunge into the 0's.
