  The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often tougher than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The beautiful scenery of Owyhee County and the water flowing gracefully down Bruneau River - East Fork have people coming here. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. There are campgrounds
    quite near the river where you can camp. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you won't find many other paddling rivers. This stretch of Bruneau
River - East Fork is 9 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V section by American Whitewater. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. The Winter Camp to Roberson Trail stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Mountain Home, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further  
down the page.

Briefly about the general area:
If the weather is delightful here at Bruneau River - East Fork, you can go for a hike along the Roberson Trail. Bruneau River - East Fork is generally a reasonably dry site. The month with most of the rain is November, and July is when it's the driest. Throughout the warmest time of the year highs here at Bruneau River - East Fork reach the 90's, and the night is fairly cooler of course, mostly in the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Bruneau River - East Fork.
