The nature scenery of Idaho and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water attract people from near and far. The Dworshack Reservoir to Washington border section is one of a few paddling sections in this river system. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There     aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. If you're coming from Lewiston it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. Briefly about the general   area: The wonderful people of Culdesac like to hang out close by. Don't leave Clearwater River without going to Winchester Lake State Park. All through the warm months at Clearwater River temperatures are generally in the 80's while night lows are usually in the 40's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Clearwater River.
