The beautiful scenery of Clearwater County and the water flowing gracefully down Clearwater River - North Fork beats anything. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so don't forget that many runs in this state are not easy. There     aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The beauty of the Bitterroot Range is a great plus for this river. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling places. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Getting some good exercise   and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people.
