Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Idaho is often more difficult than elsewhere, so keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Coeur d'Alene, as you can see on the road map further down. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop     paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Jordan Creek to Teepee Creek section is one of them. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, in this general area you won't find many other paddling places. The campgrounds here at Couer d'Alene River - Big North Fork are pretty good.   The wild scenery of the Bitterroot Range is great.
