If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Idaho you might find the rivers here a bit more challenging, so you'd better keep in mind that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. to American Whitewater. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature have a lot of people coming here. This section is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so go ahead and pack your sleeping

The Deadwood Reservoir to End of Road stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. There's camping available near Deadwood River. Mountains scenery is wonderful. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
Briefly about the general area: There
are plenty of people from Lowman here at Deadwood River. On a good day at Deadwood River you can take a hike along the Whitehawk Basin Trail; if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the West Side Trail. This
river has so much to offer. High temperatures at Deadwood River during the long summer days are in the 90's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 40's.
