CLASS III     14 miles
The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the water flowing gracefully down Falls River beats anything. This stretch of Falls River in Idaho is 14 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III section. The put-in is not too far from Jackson, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be
a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Cave
Falls Campground WY to Concrete Bridge section is one of them. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your camp stove too. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came.
