The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This stretch of Jarbidge in Owyhee County is 29 miles long and has been rated as a class II-V section by American Whitewater. activated and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why
| not pack your sleeping bag too. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good rivers.

a hike along the Tiguero Trail; you need to explore Crater Hole since you're here. The Batt Trail is a tremendous hiking trail right next door to Jarbidge. At Jarbidge you don’t see much rain. November is the wettest month
with most rain, and July is when it's the driest. During the summertime months at Jarbidge temperatures are generally in the 90's with nighttime lows in the 50's. All through the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Jarbidge.
