Idaho whitewater, Robinson Creek Fremont county, Yellowstone National Park to Warm River section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS II-III     21.9 miles   I spent many hours on Robinson Creek fishing and I'm not sure as to how it is even close to being class 2-3. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other     states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. There are a few other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. The nature scenery of Idaho and the playfulness of the water make the trip here worthwhile. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of rivers   for that. Briefly about the general area: A perfect place like Targhee National Forest in close proximity to Robinson Creek is too splendid to leave out; hiking along the Boundary Creek Trail is good fun. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Otter Springs; do take a hike on the West Boundary Trail. Coming to this river is always a good idea. A trip to Fish Creek Spring will fill your soul with glorious feelings.
