This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. at its best. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do in the Clearwater Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Salmon River; Broken Leg Trail is a great local trail. For the period of the warm months
at Salmon River temperatures are generally in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Salmon River.
