The Marsh Creek to Boundary Creek section of Salmon River - Middle Fork is 8 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Custer County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from     the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Marsh Creek to Boundary Creek section is just one of them.
