This stretch of Snake River in Twin Falls/Jerome County is 7.3 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class I(II) section. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The Milner Power Plant to Star Falls section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. Briefly about the general area: Here at Snake River you'll possibly meet some folks from Hazelton. Summertime at Snake River comes with high temperatures in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer
temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Snake River are in the 10's. Snake River is pretty dried up commonly. Through November this area sees the most rain; July on the other hand is the driest.
