The beautiful scenery of Idaho and the water flowing gracefully down Snake River are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Murtaugh Bridge to Twin Falls Reservoir section of Snake River in Idaho is 13 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class III-IV section. This section has enough |
mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your camping stuff. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Idaho are often tougher than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the
| rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way around here you won't find a large number of other rivers. This is not the only paddling section in this river system, there are others too.
