  This stretch of St. Joe River - Marble Creek in Idaho is 13.5 miles long and is a class III-IV section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Idaho are harder than the national norm, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Moscow, as you can see on the road map further down. You can pitch a tent or
    park your RV at a nearby campground. The wonderful Idaho scenery and the playfulness of the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. Getting a good workout and just hanging out with mother nature will
have you coming back for more. Whitewater paddling here in the Clearwater Mountains is a great experience. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your camping stuff too. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling rivers. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations  
in advance you're all set. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Upper Bridge to St. Joe Confluence stretch is just one of many.

Briefly about the general area:
Hiking is a popular thing to do around St. Joe River - Marble Creek; Ally Point Trail is a great local trail. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Prince Peak Trail. Summer at St. Joe River - Marble Creek arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 30's while the cold winter nights at St.
