Says Max ora The average Idaho whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. This section of Warm River is 5 miles long and it is classified as a class IV-V+ section by American     Whitewater. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, it's good length for a morning trip. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of spots for that. Great exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The nature scenery of Fremont County and the water flowing gracefully down Warm River make the trip here worthwhile. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels   fill up quick. This river system has a few good paddling sections and the Twisted Draw to Warm River Campground section is one of them. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Rexburg, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Briefly about the general area: Twisted Draw is close to Warm River and is beyond doubt a good spot to explore, and going for a hike on the West Boundary Trail is always a pleasant adventure. Targhee National Forest is a perfect site to stop at on a beautiful day, and Warm River is not far at all from Ashton.
