Adamas county, Bear Creek Bridge to Snake River confluence section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.

CLASS III-IV     14 miles
The nature scenery of Idaho and the cool fresh water have people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. The beauty of the Wallowa Mountains is a great plus for this river. This stretch of Wildhorse River in Idaho is 14 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American
Whitewater. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. There are a few other stretches in this river
system that can be paddled as well. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good places for that around here.
