The natural beauty of Indiana and the cool fresh water are reasons enough   to come here and paddle. There are some good stretches to paddle in this river system, the West Simonton to St. Joseph River stretch is one of them. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you won't find a large number of other spots. If you'll be staying in a hotel you're in luck, lodging is available very near the river, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This stretch is short so no need to bring snacks.
