  The Highway 37 to Old Highway 37 stretch of Gulletts Creek is 2 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class I-II(III) section of whitewater. The put-in location is a short drive from Bedford, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The wonderful Indiana scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater
    rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Indiana is often easier than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers in
this state are good for beginners. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The Highway 37 to Old Highway 37 stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. This section is quite short so better bring some good walking shoes.

to check out close by, and sites like Spring Mill State Park are perfect to stop at. You're sure to stumble upon some nice folks from Oolitic here. Summertime highs at Gulletts Creek frequently tend to be in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. For the period of the winter the highs are mostly in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Gulletts Creek temperatures dip to the 10's. Gulletts Creek is a reasonably wet place generally with a great deal of precipitation. Of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month.
