Indiana whitewater, Pipe Creek Cass county, 925 East Road to 275 South Road section whitewater kayaking, rafting, and paddling information.   CLASS I-II+(V)     1.3 miles   We were wading along this area and were asked to get off private property at gun point. Have tried to contact local DNR with no luck on replies. And local shreiff did not know for certain if the people owned the water or not. This section of Pipe Creek in Cass County is 1.3 miles long and is a class I-II+(V) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. The put-in location is a short drive from Logansport, as you can see on the road map further down. The scenic beauty of Cass County and the water flowing gracefully down Pipe Creek are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a very short stretch so no need to bring snacks. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. There are some   good sections to paddle in this river system, the 925 East Road to 275 South Road section is one of them. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other spots for that. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
