There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. The campgrounds here at Boone Creek are pretty good. On this section you do get some distance, it's perfect for a one day trip.

July is the one with the most rain; the driest month of the year is October. For the period of the months of summer at Boone Creek temperatures are frequently in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's.
The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Boone Creek dipping down into the 20's through winter nights.
