Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Kentucky is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections in this state are pretty easy. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Richmond, as you can see on the road map further down. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the East Fork to Kentucky 388 bridge section
| is one of them. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places.
