The wonderful Maine scenery and the cool fresh water beats anything. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that many runs in this state are very easy. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is a bit of a short |
stretch so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while
