The starting point is not too far from Augusta-Waterville, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling places. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, good for a one day paddling trip. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground.
