The nature scenery of Maine and the cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. The put-in location is a short drive from Augusta-Waterville, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will make you glad you came. River all through the summer highs are in the 70's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Sebasticook River.
